Happy New Year!!!!
I hope you all had a fantastic winter break and that your Christmas and New Years was very memorable! I always enjoy taking things easy and hanging with my family. Holiday dinners have also got to be one of the biggest highlights of my break haha! I love to cook the day away with my mother while listening to the radio and singing along. Oh and eating afterwords is always a fantastic way to end the day =) How was your New Years Eve? I spent the night playing apples to apples, drinking sparkling wine (grape juice) =p and talking to friends about our New Years resolutions. Did you make one? I’m always really excited for the new year because I see it as a fresh start! Of course it’s always hard for me to change the date on my papers to 2010 instead of 2009, but I’ll get that down in a few months haha. I hope you all made a New Years resolution and are able to follow through with it! I’m going to need to work on mine too. I hope to see you at our State Conference in April!!! Until then, take care and keep your chin up through the rest of the school year!!!

I hope everyone had a really good new year, I know I did. Not only is the school year half way over, but states is just around the corner. The state officers are excited to be planning this years State Competition and I will keep you updated through facebook. In a couple more days, the state officers will be holding the Fall Leadership Conference and I’m really excited. I hope everyone who wanted to go, can, because this year will be a blast. Not only do you get to meet other SkillsUSA members, FCCLA will be holding their conference too, so double the fun. Hope to see you all there.
